Football Friday

It was a Friday we had been looking forward to for weeks....it was a Friday we had talked about for days...and it was a Friday we would never forget. Aunt Kathy, Lizzy, Josh, Anna, Shelby, Jake, Julie, and I got up at 3:30 a.m. to go to the Mobile Convention Center to meet the Seniorbowl Football players. Yea, that may seem silly to some people but when you are as big of a football fan as we are it was worth it! We got there and were happy to find out we were in the first 25 people in line. We started off playing games to past the time....we were all pretty excited and full of energy even though we had gotten little sleep.
Yea, Josh was too anxious; he couldn't sit down. :)


Julie, Lizzy, and Shelby.....we had been waiting in line for hours.....about 7 hours and still 3 more hours to go......Gator Chomp!!!

Just a little little LITTLE part of the long lines of the people waiting. We waited in line for 9 hours and yes, it was worth every minute. We met the players and got their autographs and some pictures of them. It was cold and raining on the way back and we were all hungry and tired and got home late....then the next day we got up and went back to Mobile for the 2010 Senior Bowl game.

So we waited forever in line on Friday and froze on Saturday, but it was worth every minute and we will never forget that senior bowl weekend. And Lizzy got to meet Tebow, so that's all that matters. :)
